Nick Walejeski has forever changed my life. Before I met Nick, I had been unsuccessfully combating being overweight for over two decades, which was most of my life. I had already been working out for almost a year and was trying to change my approach to both exercise and diet, but I was not getting much traction on either front. I was ready to lose the weight and to live a healthier, more active lifestyle, but I was at a loss for what to try next; that is when I contacted Nick. Nick was the catalyst. I started personal training with Nick, and he gave me the push and direction that I needed. With his holistic approach, we confronted not only the surface-level struggles of being overweight but also the emotional and dietary changes that needed to be addressed. Through Nick’s encouragement and motivation, I branched out from just personal training and started to attend his indoor and outdoor boot camps, small group training, and eventually joined his triathlon training team, triTRAINed. Nick’s input enabled me to win first place in my age group at my very first triathlon during my first triathlon season.
When I met Nick, I was ready for a big change and a lifestyle overhaul, and Nick was the one that provided the direction, guidance, and encouragement to make that a reality for me. I worked hard, there was no magic involved, but I worked productively and have continued to achieve outstanding results because Nick’s enlightened coaching empowered me to do so. Within one year of meeting Nick, I have lost 65 lbs, 8% in body fat, and 12 inches, but I also gained both an appreciation and a hunger for an active lifestyle and self-improvement.
Nick is an incredible trainer and coach. He makes each type of activity (personal training, outdoor & indoor boot camps, triTRAINed, etc.) productive, enjoyable, and fulfilling. Even in a group setting, he makes the training individualized, and his passion for health and wellness cannot help but to inspire all participants. I continue to attend every exercise class or group training that Nick teaches because I know that while they are really difficult and challenging, they are worth it. “It’s a great day for fitness!” Those are the words that I heard when I first met Nick Walejeski. Little did I know those words would change my entire way of living. Just over a year ago, I was an insecure, unhappy, overweight 30 year old, weighing 208 lbs with increasing health problems. I had been struggling with my weight for years and knew that I wanted to lose weight and get healthy, but simply did not know what to do. I was at a loss. Nick changed that.
Rarely do you find someone with such knowledge, dedication and professionalism. Nick’s passion is ALWAYS evident. He is constantly encouraging and at the same time challenging you through your workout. It still impresses me how committed he is to giving his clients the best possible training while keeping the workouts fun and challenging.
It has been just over a year since I started my journey with Nick and not only have I lost 60 lbs, I am also involved in his triTRAINed program and will be completing my 4th triathlon! I am in the best physical and mental shape that I have ever been, thanks to Nick and all of the excellent programs he offers. Nick is truly an amazing trainer and person. When I first met Nick, I weighed over 300 pounds and had never done any physical activity. Nick was patient and kind and taught me fitness fundamentals. Today, I still struggle with my weight, but weigh about 100 pounds less and am continually motivated to keep up with my physical activity. Nick pushed me to stick with it and took me from not being able to walk more than 20 minutes on a treadmill, to completing a sprint triathlon. Nick helped me change my eating habits, become aware of my inner strengths and instilled a sense of accomplishment in me. Nick is a tough trainer, but whips you into shape in a way that is fun and makes you feel great after a session. The effects of training with Nick and the improved body that came with it have enhanced every aspect of my life, I can't recommend Nick highly enough.
